Distinctive Homes was founded by Tyler Watson in 2003 and has since gone on to construct over 200 custom and speculative new homes in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Watson’s homes can be found in The Preserve at Harveston, Long Farm Village, University Club, Woodridge, Country Club of Louisiana, Lexington Estates, Inniswold Estates, Pelican Point Americana, and more.

A graduate of Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, Tyler continued his education and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. He and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of two daughters, Amelia and Avery.
Tyler is a board member of the Capital Region Builders Association, is active in his community, at St. George Catholic Church and in the leadership of the Better Business Bureau.
Watson and his team have received many distinguished awards for their new construction homes and are active members within many local associations.
